When sniping you must pic your enemy's carefully as if u let off a couple of rounds they'll look around and they'll find you.

the best advice that keeps me alive is that after every shot, relocate if you snipe from the same spot there bound to find you

Save that shot for when it's really needed.

if there's a bunch of german's and quite far away there's your team mate getting shot at. give your team m8 a chance by killing the enemy thats firing at him and dont be greedy when hunting down the enmy as that will get u killed (eg. trying 2 take out an army with a sniper rifle)

if your freind is leading the enemy 2 you , you must be straight infront of him in a window or in a bush as iff yur at the side of him its harder 2 get the enemy

lolz a lot of this is a load of rubbish, i agree with the shoot then move theory but u usually hav time to fire off a couple of rounds before they locate u

it's better to make sure ur target's dead and risk being spotted rather than leaving ur target alive to chase u down. because ur gonna relocate neway, right?

also, the picking ur targets thing instead of firing at large groups is also a bit misleading . if the group are distracted from u, what's to stop u and ur team-mates picking off the whole squad? nothing...

and sorry about my initial remark, i'm not trying to insult u guys no hard feelings eh? Wink

I wish sniping in cod was more like the real thing. I cringe when I hop in a server and see these noobs with scoped rifles. Especially standing in the middle of the road aiming it. They should include wind and ballistics tables, and temperatures come to think of it.

hehe da temperature and wind thing's a bit extreme but i fink dat the aiming is a tiny bit unrealistic, ie, the scope on all sniper rifles moves in a fixed pattern and it doesn't magnifiy ur movements like it should

Bit extreme? Try "realistic." Some maps are in the snow.

But yeah the fixed pattern (and cod2's instant-snap breath holding) are annoyingly noobish.

Bullets fire differently depending on the temp because the colder it is the less a round Please can accurately travel. Rain affects temp and also impairs vision.

Believe it or not, bullets are very "fragile." The slightest adjustments in any one factor Please can affect the entire trajectory. Take it from someone who knows lol
